Introducing Joshua Ramsey

Joshua Octavious Ramsey, better known as just Joshua Ramsey is from Belzoni, Mississippi. Joshuas real interest in rap started in high school. Ramsey described that he would rap for the basketball team to hype them up for their games. People have always thought Joshua had a future in the music scene, so they were always telling him to actually put out music. Joshua started to seriously release music about a year ago.

One of Joshua’s singles, “Freestyle” has received lots of praise for his embedded creative flow and raw talent that can be heard within the track. Joshua Ramsey considers the rest of his music style to be hardcore rap and pain music. The toughness of his tracks can easily be heard, contributing to his overall style of music he has described.

Describing his inspirations, Ramsey recalls that his earliest would be Plies. As Joshua Ramsey got older he now considers some of the artists he looks up to to be Kevin Gates and Boosie Badazz. These inspirations can be heard through his ruthless tracks.

Being from the country, Joshua never thought he could make it in the rap industry but he has faith that as he keeps working hard and releasing his music from the heart, he can make it.
