Introducing MKdabest

Meet MKdabest, or otherwise known as MK. MK was born in Sudan but grew up in Michigan for most of his life. From a very young age, MK remembers listening to music. It always has made a heavy impact on him and his life. MK says that it helped him a lot to push through the hard times in life and endure through the trials. Additionally it provided him with motivation to work hard.

MK started making music around 2015. He mentions that although he was pretty inexperienced at the time, he continued to work harder and harder to learn more. As time went by, making music got exceedingly more enjoyable so he has been creating music ever since then.

MK’s music consists of mostly Hip Hop, RnB, and Rap. Additionally, once in a while he will experiment with making reggae music if he has any free time. MK has a variety of types of music he likes to work with, while also incorporating those elements into his own style. This makes for some creative tracks.

MK considers his best track to be “10 Toes”. He is inspired by artists such as NBA Youngboy, Christ Brown, Drake, Jay-Z, and J. Cole just to name a few. It is interesting and captivating to see these influences have a place in his music.

MKdabest talked about his tremendous love for music as a whole. It is so important for ideas to be put out there to have the great chance to act as an inspiration for somebody else. MK also loves working with people and other artists so he is more than open to collaborate.
